My name is Megan Martin- I am a journalist by trade and passion.

I graduated from Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications in the spring of 2009. I specialized in print journalism, but also received training in multimedia, photojournalism, and video editing.

While my skills are based mainly in the print genre, my drive, passion, and ability to learn quickly will make me a great asset in any journalistic endeavor.

I was the 2009 recipient for the Hearst Editorial Award for my story titled "Whose pants are these?" I wrote this story as a member of the Borderlands depth-reporting class headed by Rick Rodriguez.

During the spring semester of 2008, I gained newsroom experience while completing an internship with the East Valley Tribune. I pitched stories, met hard deadlines, scanned for police and fire stories, and assisted other journalists on their stories.

Please review my resume and samples of my work through the links featured at the top of the page.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,
Megan A. Martin
